Erika is a teacher, daycare owner, author of 13 books, and publisher. Through her work in low income, impoverished, west and east Los Angeles, Erika saw so many children that did not know how to read or even own a book of their own. In response to this, she started Strong Family Bond, a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to strengthen the family and put books into the hands of children in need. A book they can call their own.
Erika writes about the real-life challenges children face. Some of her books include "But Why Is Daddy In Prison?", "But Why The Face Mask?", and "But Why Do We Die?". Her books are written to help parents find better ways to talk to their children about difficult subjects and bring healing into the child's life.
Erika was born and raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in Silver Lake. She has a BA in social science with a concentration in child and family development. When not helping others, Erika spends time with her two sons. One is a marine and the other is an avid gamer.
Elizabeth Yang is the founder and CEO of the Law & Mediation Offices of Elizabeth Yang. Her law firm specializes in family law, business law, intellectual property law, and estate planning.
At the age of 19, Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in two and a half years. She was admitted to the United States Patent & Trademark Office in 2007. Prior to practicing law, Elizabeth worked for Raytheon Company as an electrical engineer designing radar systems. She also previously interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab. Working with a team member on the main control unit of the Mars Exploration Rover.
In 2016-2021. Elizabeth was awarded the "Top 100 Civil Lawyers" award and the "Top 40 Lawyers Under 40" award by the national Trail Lawyers Association. In 2017-2020, Elizabeth was recognized by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers as "Rising Star" ranking her in the top 2.5% of lawyers in California and was presented with the Lawyers of Distinction award, recognizing her as the top 10% of lawyers in the United States.
In 2017, Elizabeth published her first best-selling book, "The Big Secret" alongside Jack Canfield, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. In 2018, she published her second book, "Stress-Free Divorce" to assist parties going through this very difficult time of their lives.
Christy Mast-Suazo works as a Life Coach and Certified Physical Trainer. She offers one-on-one coaching to help individuals find their purpose in life and boost their self-esteem. She helps her clients be the best they can be mind, body, and spirit. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters and loves to travel to places like Sequoia and Sedona to spend time in nature.
Brenda Gonzales is an Executive Manager who’s passion is to help others. As a family advocate she manages a Women’s Support Group called Healing Warriors. Working with children that have suffered trauma has inspired her to receive a certificate in Child Development with a concentration in child abuse and neglect. This included courses on mental health abuse, domestic violence and anger management. Brenda is also a certified massage therapist that supports helping people heal from the inside out. Her therapeutic hands carry the soothing touch to renovate the body and mind.
Brenda has worked as a Commercial Real estate executive assistant for 8 years and as a Dispatcher lead for a well known world wide security company for 3 years.
She is an example of what she practices and continues to share it with the world. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
