Hi, I'm Erika.  Thank you for visiting my website. I am a well-known children's book author that focuses on life's most difficult subjects. Some of my books include "But why the face mask?", "Why is Daddy in prison?",  "But why do we die?" and "How to say goodbye". These books are the product of years of working with children. Each one was written with a heartfelt voice that provides comfort and loving support to anyone who finds themselves facing a difficult situation.  In response to COVID, I offer many virtual workshops and support groups for children and adults. This includes Create Your Own Book and Read Along for children as well as workshops and support groups for adults that deal with Healing, Anxiety, Depression, Inner Child Healing and Life Transformation. As a family advocate, my mission is to strengthen the bond between children and their parents through the power of words.    I was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles and currently lives in Silver Lake. I have a BA in social science with a concentration in child and family development. I am a teacher, daycare owner, a certified medical assistant as well as a radio-frequency body contouring technician. Welcome to my website and please feel free to take a look around.
